David Cameron is committed to cutting inheritance tax by raising the threshold to £2 million for a married couple before someone has to pay any inheritance tax.
Jon Sopel: So given the scale of what we’re facing are you saying that come what may the inheritance tax proposal will still be a manifesto commitment?
David Cameron: I’ve answered that question as others have done before. We’ve made a commitment, we’ve shown how it can be paid for and that’s what will be done.
